1. Are all of the properties offered by Panamadera titled?

Unless otherwise stated explicitly, the properties listed on this website are titled properties registered with the Panamanian Public Registry.  Titled properties provide owners with pretty much the same rights as equivalent properties in the U.S. or Europe.

Panamadera may from time to time also provide properties that are classified "right-of-possession."  Right-of-possession properties have most of the rights as titled properties, with the exception that they cannot be mortgaged.  An additional benefit of right-of-possession properties is that they do not pay property taxes.  Any right-of-possession property offered by Panamadera will be explicitly labeled such.

2. Do I own the trees that are on my property?

Yes, absolutely.  As the owner of a Panamadera eco-property, you also have full ownership rights to all trees, plants, and anything else on your property.

3. Who manages my property after I purchase it?

Panamadera provides management services to all owners of Panamadera's eco-developments to ensure that the properties are managed consistently and in a sustainable manner.  Panamadera charges owners an annual fee that is guaranteed to rise no faster than the average Panama wage inflation rate.

4. How do Panamadera's offerings compare with what other reforestation properties provide?
